Ayshia Thomas is a Supervisee in Social Work with over 10 years of experience working in community services with children, adolescents, and adults along with the therapeutic outpatient setting. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Regis College in 2021. She has worked extensively with those residing in under marginalized areas, mental health services, clients dealing with relationship conflicts, life transitions and providing support through racial & discriminatory trauma. She utilizes different approaches in the therapeutic settings such as Holistic Practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused Therapy and Mindfulness based strategies. Her passion is to teach healthier ways to manage stressors in life and to teach positive coping skills that can be practiced in all areas of life.
